This is a series of induction programmes for newly arrived non-local students. Students are free to choose froma series of activities spanning over late August to early September. The activities, a mixture of fun, fact findings, visits and tours, aim to help the newly arrived to settle down, induct into living and studying in Hong Kong, make friends and to get to know about the newenvironment. Non-local students are strongly recommended to take various learning and psychological assessments on Psychometer (http://psyax.cedars.hku.hk/), a web-based psychological profile for all HKU students, to monitor how well they adjust to the new cultural and learning environment at HKU.
